At Switchshop, our approach to corporate social responsibility goes beyond traditional fundraising. We actively encourage our team to take part in initiatives that challenge them, raise awareness, and deliver meaningful impact for important causes.
At Switchshop, our fundraising efforts have taken many forms over the years, but few have been quite as breath taking as this one. Five members of the Switchshop team took to the skies and completed a charity skydive in aid of the NSPCC, raising an incredible £2,257 for one of the UK’s most vital child protection charities.
Brave doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Why the NSPCC?
The NSPCC exists to end child abuse in the UK. Every day, their teams, including the Childline service, provide a lifeline to children and young people who have nowhere else to turn. The work they do is relentless, vital, and entirely dependent on the generosity of supporters and fundraisers across the country.
At Switchshop, protecting children is something we care about deeply, both through the safeguarding technology we provide to schools and public sector organisations, and through the charitable causes we choose to support as a business. Supporting the NSPCC felt like a natural extension of those values.

The Jump
Five Switchshop employees strapped in, suited up, and threw themselves out of a plane, all in the name of raising money for children who need it most. The nerves were real. The screaming was real. The smiles at the bottom were even more real.
We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them, not just for the bravery it took to jump, but for the commitment, the fundraising effort, and the heart behind it all.
Total raised: £2,257 – every penny going directly to the NSPCC to help protect children and prevent abuse across the UK.
