Corporate Social Responsibility
At Switchshop, we believe that being a good business means being a good neighbour.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility programme was established in 2019 with a simple ambition: to make a meaningful, positive difference to the communities around us. What started as a focus on local causes has grown into something much broader, with initiatives that reach organisations and communities across the UK.
Our Approach
We’ve always believed the best ideas come from within. That’s why our CSR programme is employee-led. Anyone at Switchshop can bring an idea to the table, and we’ll work to make it happen. It didn’t take long to realise just how much our people cared, and that enthusiasm shaped everything we’ve built since.
As part of that commitment, every Switchshop employee receives one paid volunteering day per year, dedicated time to support the community projects, causes, and organisations that matter to them.
Get Involved
Whether that's donating our time, sharing our expertise, or providing financial support through donations and sponsorship, we look for meaningful ways to contribute rather than token gestures.
We actively support projects that create lasting, positive change, with a particular focus on environmental and sustainable initiatives that leave communities better than we found them.
Our volunteering programme gives every employee the opportunity to step away from their desk and put their energy somewhere it counts, while broadening their own experience and connection to the world beyond work.
